
MAD (b. 1987) is an Iranian muralist based in Istanbul. He has been painting on walls since 2008, using intricate stencils and spray paint to create unique and striking pieces. MAD’s murals can be found in various countries, including Iran, the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Norway, Turkey, and Indonesia.
MAD is particularly drawn to the power of storytelling and mythology, and his artwork reflects this fascination. By incorporating mystery and ambiguity into his work, he creates narratives that can be interpreted in a variety of ways, encouraging audiences to question the world around them.
